Enable approached Screenmedia to modernize their brand and website with the aim of presenting a more contemporary image and enhancing the user experience.
Brand identity
As a mid-level UI designer, I collaborated closely with the lead designer on developing the new brand identity. Together, we developed various logo proposals, starting with initial sketches and exploring a wide range of design concepts. Through multiple iterations, we refined these ideas to ensure they accurately reflected Enable’s mission, values, and vision. This process included researching suitable fonts and curating color palettes to ensure the logo aligned with Enable’s core values and appealed to their audience.
The result was a fresh and vibrant new logo that provided consistency for the charity as a whole, while allowing for differentiation between the three pillars.
Once the logo was defined, I worked on the brand guidelines document, detailing the correct usage of the logo, typography, color schemes, imagery, and other visual elements to ensure consistency across all media and platforms.
Website
After the brand was defined, I was involved in the website design. The challenge was to create a cohesive website that effectively represented the charity’s entire identity while allowing for differentiation between the three pillars. My responsibilities included designing pages and content blocks, refining the style guide to ensure a consistent visual identity, and optimizing designs for mobile responsiveness to ensure accessibility on various devices. The result was a modern, user-centric website that aligned with both Enable’s internal objectives and the users’ needs, providing a seamless and engaging experience for all users.
